STAND-UPS

I watched this show on Comedy Central the 100 greatest stand-up comedians. Basically it's one of those list shows that I usually love to follow, but of course it is not one of those absurd made up list that VH1 usually compiled. I came across this comedian named George Wallace. Here's his lines... "I went to McDonalds the other day and my total was 2.78 and I gave the cashier 3 dollars and 3 pennies and as expected all hells break loose *crowd laughter*, the cashier said "what's with all these pennies? I don't need any of these pennies.." Of course all I want to do was to get a quarter back *crowd laughing*."

There were a lot of those great stand-up in the list as expected. There was no Conan O'Brien in the list though. I'm pretty disappointed by that, but his stand-up in his show is not that great anyway. Dave Chapelle whose show is so so hilarious stayed at #43. Meanwhile, Jerry Seinfeld whose sitcom is a classic put himself in #12. The late Richard Pryor got the nod at #1. The full list can be seen in here

Ahh..THE ROCKETS

Houston Rockets finally won a playoff game yesterday. It is pretty long overdue. They deserve to win in game 1. They have a chance to win in game 2 with Shaq getting into foul troubles. In game 3, the three-point shooting is really the weapon that put them on top. Cuttino Mobley got hot from downtown while keeping Kobe in check the whole game. Kobe shot 33% up to game 3 of the playoff. Steve Francis played one of his best game in his life, flirting with triple-double (27 pts, 9 reb, 7 ast). Yao Ming played his normal game that day (18 pts 10 reb) and managed to play Shaq one on one. This give a chance for the Rockets to double team Kobe. Looking at the first three games, I actually believe that Rockets has a chance, except if Karl Malone and Payton managed to take over games.
