Jazzing Up the Day

Just my rumbling mumbling about what i do everyday

I went to Houston on Friday afternoon. My CPU started acting up on Thursday. It started heating up to about 70 C when I played CM. That's pretty scary, FYI the processor would melt if the temperature reaches 90 C. I checked the Motherboard temperature and it's only about 30 C... So the problem must be on the heatsink. So I decided to go to Houston to buy a heatsink. Well, I can actually opted to buy it online but I was just a bit impatient. It's also a good reason to go out of town. Ar also went with me. He considered it as a chance to meet the other A. So there we went. We arrived at Electronic Fry's at about 730ish and kind of confused at first which heatsink I should buy, and then decided to buy a pretty good one from Thermaltake (Volcano 8). After finishing up with my business, now It's Ar's turn.. So we went to the other A's place and greeted by the usual barking by her dog, D :D.

We decided to go see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It's a movie that I've been wanting to see ever since the premiere. The metacritic.com reviews makes me want to watch it even more (rated 87 out of 100). And one thing for sure, It's worth every penny. I will have a full review a bit later.

After the movie, we went to Cafe Brazil. There was a live band playing. We got there at about 0030ish. It was a bit late to watch the band, they only played for a few minutes. Their sound is kind of acid jazzish which is unheard of in US. There was this girl who was really into this band and she kept comparing the band to JTQ (James Taylor Quartet) and their famous "Love Will Keep Us Together" song. The other A then asked me to play that song in the car...And then I realized that I neither have the CD nor the mp3. Dang, that song was a classic... a definite burn material. Hell, I would buy the CD if it's available in here, which is not.

Well then we drove back to College Station and arrived back at around 430 AM. And I wasnt sleepy at all at that time because of that damn coffee at that cafe. It was pretty good though :D.
